Hospice Visions, LLC was awarded the “Spirit of Idaho” Award, presented by Senator Mike Crapo, for their continued support of veterans in the Magic Valley through their work with the We Honor Veterans program.

Hospice Visions, LLC has partnered with the Veterans Administration and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization to join the "We Honor Veterans Campaign." Hospice Visions, LLC is a Level Five Partner, the highest recognition of this exciting program. By recognizing a veteran's unique needs, we can adapt our care to their backgrounds. The emotional and spiritual components of hospice care can be especially meaningful to veterans who often face issues near the end of life relating to their military experiences. Support is even more crucial for veterans who do not have a strong support network of family and friends.

We have developed a Hospice Veteran Partnership with our County Veteran Service Officers, Veteran Service Organizations and other Veteran Health Advocacy Services. This enables us to increase awareness and knowledge about veterans' end-of-life care needs and options, while strengthening relationships between hospices, VA programs and community organizations. Our goal is to improve veterans' access to hospice and palliative care across all sites and levels of care. By utilizing and implementing The Military History Checklist upon admission we can achieve these goals and provide the very best of care to our Veterans. These brave men and women have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country. We believe it is an honor and privilege to care for them and know that it is never too late to give them a hero's welcome home.
